A Minnesota National Guardsman who mentors high school students and a Wisconsin woman who volunteers at the local food pantry and works to preserve historic buildings are among the dozens of Bryant Community Heroes recently honored by Bryant distributor Auer Steel and two Bryant Factory Authorized Dealers.

ARS/Rescue Rooter of Indiana gave back to the community by donating and installing furnaces, water heaters, and Google Home Minis to local families this winter. Area residents were prompted by radio commercials and social media posts to nominate families on arsindianapolis.com. The families received their installations just in time to beat the cold snap this winter.

WaterFurnace International, Inc. recently donated $30,000 to the United Service Organization (USO) of Indiana, making the company the largest single contributor to the nonprofit military support organization.

ARS/Rescue Rooter started a program that gives heating, plumbing and air conditioning products and services to people in need. In the course of one year, ARS and their network providers have donated 17 HVAC systems and six water heaters to people in need, totaling to approximately $171,000 in products and services.

Thanks to generous donations to the ACCA Disaster Relief Fund, on October 3rd James Barry, President and Owner of Doctor Cool and Professor Heat (League City, TX) was able to present ACCA Disaster Relief aid to three of his employees critically impacted by flooding after Hurricane Harvey.

Airtime 500, Addison, Texas, and Perfect Technician Academy, Weatherford, Texas, are working together to offer aid and assistance to the approximately 300 veterans affected by the unexpected closure of the Retail Ready Career Center in Garland, Texas. Students affected by this closure are encouraged to visit www.hvacvets.com to begin the aid process.

Edwards Heating & Air, an HVAC company deeply rooted in the greater Atlanta area, will be giving away a brand new home furnace package at this year’s Taste of Acworth, and the Taste of Kennesaw, Nov. 4, valued at approximately $1,000 each.
