Launched in 2010, the competition recognizes North American original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), building owners, municipalities, contractors, and end users that have introduced a new product, opened a new facility, or invested in a building or system upgrade in the past 18 months using Danfoss products or solutions to realize significant energy and environmental savings.
CHICAGO – The AHR Expo show managers announced Danfoss the winner of its 2018 Product of the Year during a presentation of its annual Innovation Awards. The presentation awarded the Innovation Award winners in each of the 10 categories: building automation, cooling, green building, heating, indoor air quality, plumbing, refrigeration, software, tools and instruments, and ventilation. Florida Governor Rick Scott announced that manufacturer Danfoss Turbocor Compressors will be building a new facility in Tallahassee, Florida, and will add 120 new jobs. The new facility will expand the company’s existing footprint within Innovation Park in Tallahassee, which includes the engineering and manufacturing operations of Danfoss and its Application Development Center that opened earlier this year.
