Chemours is ending its sales of the refrigerants R-404A and R507, effective immediately, in support of regulatory requirements in the U.S. and Canada.

The integration of Honeywell’s Solstice refrigerant into Hisense units comes amidst the recent increase in legislative mandates across the country to reduce the use of high-GWP HFCs in response to the growing global emphasis on addressing climate change.

Bosch’s newest line of heat pumps will incorporate Honeywell’s Solstice low-GWP refrigerant, and Bosch technicians will be trained in the safe maintenance and installation of the next-generation low-GWP solutions.

The launch includes a majority of the company's residential portfolio of heat pumps, air conditioners, air-handling units, and indoor evaporator coils.
