Uponor North America announced it is expanding its manufacturing facility in Apple Valley, Minnesota, beginning late spring 2015, with completion expected by Dec. 1, 2015. The $18 million investment will be used toward renovation and creation of an additional 88,000 square feet.

Johnson Controls, Hitachi Ltd., and Hitachi Appliances Inc. have entered into a definitive agreement for a global joint venture while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The companies said the new joint venture will allow them to deliver one of the most diverse technology portfolios in the HVACR industry.
