Power generation and HVAC specialty rental company Aggreko plc has launched a mobile application in North America to support its Aggreko Remote Monitoring (ARM) tool. ARM is on most of Aggreko’s fleet of generators, select oil-free air compressors, and portable cooling equipment in North America.

United Rentals Inc., a provider of equipment rentals including portable HVAC equipment, announced the launch of a new online service that allows renters to browse, price, reserve, and schedule equipment through any Internet-enabled device.

The company rents portable heating and cooling systems that are often used in an emergency, or when a company has a job site that requires climate control.

Powerhouse Equipment and Engineering Co. Inc. announced it has acquired boiler service company, Corn Service Inc. (CSI), of Gastonia, North Carolina. Powerhouse said this acquisition will allow it to better service its rental boiler customers in the Mid-South, Southeast, and Gulf Coast regions of the United States.

Aggreko, a global provider of modular, mobile power and related solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of the equipment rental business of ICS Group Inc., a provider of portable climate control services in Canada.
