Greenbuild will have three people active in climate change issues at its opening session. 

 The promotion, called “SEVENbration,” promotes the HVAC market energy efficiency of the 7 Series by offering the rebates on purchases made through Dec. 19.  

Two Johnson Controls products were recently recognized by Consumers Digest for  their energy efficiency.

 Some companies are now having difficulty finding qualified workers, said Stephen E. Sandherr, the association's chief executive officer. 

 Speakers are to include construction executives, trade magazine editors and technology experts.  

 “This month’s jobs numbers show continued progress toward lowering the unemployment rate,” said Kim Glas, the group’s executive director.  

 During the Sept. 27 event, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan and his family volunteered at a Washington, D.C., elementary school. 

 Ingersoll Rand said it would cut greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent within six years as part of an effort to reduce climate change and boost green HVAC.
