The bill, called the American Energy Manufacturing Technical Corrections Act, modifies the standards for service-over-the-counter commercial refrigerators.
Under the program, Toronto-based Ecobee will remotely manage the Wi-Fi –enabled Smart Thermostats of Austin Energy customers from June through September.
Republican Gov. Rick Snyder signed the bill Tuesday. It outlaws requiring union membership or the mandatory payment of union dues or similar fees as a condition of employment.
