 By combining the ToughGard liner’s properties with a green HVAC matt, it offers a way to ensure comfort and good air quality for HVAC construction projects, officials say.  

The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors National Association will hold its second annual contest for HVAC apprentices during its annual convention in New Orleans.

Sitting in an office, or in their own homes, many people don’t notice their building’s ductwork unless there is something wrong with it — it’s too noisy or the air in the room is too cold or too hot. The fabrication of ductwork is much like designing and constructing a roller coaster or a water slide — the air has to flow smoothly and efficiently for a building’s occupants to be comfortable, healthy and safe.

 Organizers of the Chinese plumbing and HVAC construction trade show known as ISH Shanghai and CIHE is expecting large crowds next week.  

 The cloud-based service has what the manufacturer calls an “intuitive” interface and a real-time look into HVAC market energy operations. 

 It uses a variable-frequency drive to ensure green HVAC operation and a touch-pad control.  

 The move will give Quietside better access to Samsung’s line of HVAC construction products and will allow the California-based company to boost its staff and infrastructure, officials said. 

 The maker of tankless water heaters and other HVAC market products was founded in Los Angeles in 1974.  

 Committee members will draft, review and field comments on the HVAC construction standard. 

 The product is the only ducted vertical stack product for HVAC construction system applications, the company said.
