An umbrella group of union-affiliated construction associations thanked the president for seeking over a trillion dollars in infrastructure spending in Tuesday’s State of the Union speech but said it had questions on where the money would come from.
Through its Innovation Awards program, the expo donated $20,700 to Chicago Lighthouse, a nonprofit organization that serves with visually impaired individuals in the Chicago metropolitan area.
It’s a little early for final numbers – the 2018 AHR Expo just ended Wednesday – but organizers say it appears to be the largest in the 80-plus-year history of the event.
Among the products scheduled to be on display at next week’s AHR Expo in Chicago is a “smart” home monitoring device that works with Amazon’s Alexa to ensure HVAC system performance.
