Design and construction of Metro Tech’s latest building, a 54,000-square-foot facility housing its Metro Career Academy (MCA) for at-risk high school students, incorporated a host of sustainable building and renewable energy aspects that resulted in becoming a LEED-certified CareerTech building by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). 

Throngs of attendees took part in numerous educational and networking events that were designed to promote awareness of issues related to creating healthy, comfortable, sustainable homes.

A multitude of trends and innovations offer new opportunities for progress increasingly converging on the prospect of a new basic concept: whole-building systems. 

With projected total annual energy gain (with solar) of $123, the home falls safely into the zero net-energy usage category.

The P-Series line of variable-frequency drives (VFDs) has been enhanced with an Energy Management Bypass (EMB) option.
