The recent Inflation Reduction Act, along with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) from last year, provide more than $25 billion for programs and tax incentives for home energy upgrades.

The California Air Resources Board unanimously voted to approve a proposal that would eliminate the sale of gas-powered furnaces and water heating appliances by 2030. 

The Kigali Amendment, already agreed to by more than 130 other countries, was ratified by the U.S. Senate on a bipartisan vote, 69-27, on September 21.
