The Whalen Co. hosted an event for its sales representatives, customers, and media Sunday evening at the Hard Rock Café Orlando at the Universal CityWalk in Orlando, Florida. More than 200 individuals registered for the event, which was held in the Roots of Rock room of the iconic restaurant and featured food, drinks, and (of course) rock and roll.
More than 300 people got a first-hand look at Modine Mfg. Co.’s new Innovation Tour truck during its AHR Expo cocktail reception at Icebar Orlando on Sunday. A few attendees even braved the balmy 18°F Icebar, donning thermal jackets and gloves, before heading inside a scene straight out of Disney’s, “Frozen.”
One way to find out what’s new in the HVACR industry is to visit the AHR Expo’s New Product and Technology Theater, which will feature dozens of exhibitors offering brief presentations about their new products. In addition, nearly 50 free seminars will be offered.
The AHR Expo Innovation Awards competition honors the most inventive and original HVACR products, systems, and technologies showcased at each year’s show in the categories of: building automation; cooling; green building; heating; indoor air quality; plumbing; refrigeration; software; tools & instruments; and ventilation.
Each year the AHR Expo gives back to the local community by donating the sum of Innovation Award entry fees to an organization in the region where the show is being held. This year, the Jacksonville Police Athletic League (PAL), was selected as the beneficiary.
