Thermostat Recycling Corp. (TRC) announced that its fifth annual Big Man On Planet (BMOP) competition begins May 1, in partnership with Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI). BMOP will run through Oct. 31 and all HARDI wholesaler members are eligible to participate.

Nortek Inc. announced the appointment of Bruno Biasiotta as chief operating officer, air management.
