Daikin Texas Technology Park (DTTP), Daikin North America LLC’s new $417 million, 4 million square-foot campus located just outside Northwest Houston, welcomed the first VRV® unit off the production line during a celebration led by CEO, Takeshi Ebisu.

The Clifford H. "Ted" Rees, Jr. Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), and the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), announced scholarship awards totaling $55,000 to 35 students, including six veterans, studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry.

Each year BACnet International hands out annual awards honoring members whose contributions to the BACnet community set them apart. This year, as the main sponsor, BACnet International will be bestowing awards upon its members as part of the ControlTrends awards ceremony.
