Amazon is set to usher in the next generation of “smart” convenience stores with the launch of its Amazon Go concept, replacing traditional checkouts with smart technology. Nortek Global has announced that the Eaton Williams business it acquired last year will close for good on November 30, following disappointing profitability. The company closed its doors and ceased production on September 30 and all employees will leave the business on November 30.
