Jim Schnorr, who joined the firm two years ago and had been serving as vice president of business development, moves to president of N.H. Yates. Jon Thomas, who had served as president, moves CEO, and Dan Kelbaugh moves from executive vice president to COO.

The award recognizes API’s efforts in the areas of growth, customer service, and sales and delivery of advanced HVAC solutions for both residential and commercial needs, according to a press release from Marcone, API’s parent company.

Associate of the Year recognition is awarded to an associate member that has demonstrated exceptional commitment and service to Air Conditioning Contractors of Ohio and the HVACR industry, a press release from ACCO said.

“This new showroom marks another milestone in Midea’s mission to bring energy-efficient HVAC solutions to every corner of North America,” said Midea executive Vincent Chou.

The strategic move unites two industry leaders, strengthening their market position and enhancing service offerings for contractors, technicians, and trade professionals across the Midwest, a press release said.

The Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce board of directors sets the business and industry legislative agenda for the organization. The board includes representatives from large and small manufacturers, service companies, and chambers of commerce throughout Wisconsin.

Family-owned Coastal Supply Group, headquartered in Staten Island, NY, was founded in 1972 to provide plumbing supplies and expertise to the local market. Third generation-owned RJ Murray Company, founded in 1922, in Schenectady, NY and now  headquartered in Latham, NY, was one of the first Carrier distributors, starting in 1933, offering heating and air conditioning equipment throughout the northeast.
