The chiller provides 250-450 tons (900- 1,600 kW) of cooling and 3600-5300 MBH (1,000-1,550 kW) of heating. This dual capability eliminates the need for separate heating equipment.

 After two rounds of voting, Carrier’s AquaEdge centrifugal chillers, collectively, were named one of six finalists in the medium-to-large business category.

The extended capacity product uses an integral, variable-speed drive and advanced magnetic bearing technology that features a single moving assembly suspended in a magnetic field that does not require lubrication.
