VICTORIA, British Columbia — At the 79th Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), Kevin Fullan, vice president and general manager of Flocor Inc., was elected as the 2011/2012 chairman.

Fullan was appointed vice president and general manager of Flocor in December 2001. In addition to his responsibilities at Flocor, Fullan served as the chairman of CIPH’s IPVF Council from 2003-2009. He is also an active member of the Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association (CASA) and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC). He was elected to the CIPH board of directors in 2005.

Elected for a three-year term to the CIPH board are: Bill Palamar (president, Weil-McLain Canada Sales Inc.), Allen Taylor (president, Taylor Pipe Supports), and Joe Senese (vice president - operations, Groupe Deschênes).

The following appointments were also announced: Wholesalers’ Division chair: Keith VanderVennet (senior vice president, Canada, Wolseley Canada), Manufacturers’ Division chair: Paul McDonald (director, sales and marketing [Canada], Bradford White Canada).

Honorary vice chairmen of the Executive Committee are: Barry Raycroft (vice president and general manager, Bardon Supplies Ltd.), and Case de Jong (president, Business Unit North America, Franke Kindred Canada Ltd.).

New officers include John Hammill (vice president, Wholesale Sales, Moen Inc.) as 1st vice chair, Robert Whitty (president and CEO, Bartle & Gibson Co. Ltd.) as 2nd vice chair, and Russ Morgan (vice president, sales and marketing - Canada, IPEX Inc.), as immediate past chair/treasurer.

The following retiring directors were recognized for their outstanding and significant contributions to CIPH: Kenneth Webster (director, sales & marketing, Viessmann Manufacturing Co. Ltd.), Cliff Sarjeant (president & general manager, NCI Marketing Inc.), and Martin Deschênes (president & chef de la direction, Groupe Deschênes Inc.).
