Identifying and optimizing distributors’ role as demand creators for the product lines they sell is the focus of the event, featuring programs for distributors and suppliers alike, keynote addresses from nationally-known speakers, council and committee forums, and many networking opportunities.
For the first time, two programs are offered specifically to supplier members to help them maximize their distribution partners. The first will be held concurrently with the Second Annual Distributor Town Hall, inaugurated last year to provide a forum for HARDI distributor members to discuss issues impacting the future of HVACR wholesale distribution.
Presenters include:
• Fortune’s Washington columnist and senior editor and frequent Fox News contributor, Nina Easton, who will be a keynote speaker presenting The View from Washington, an in-depth analysis of the upcoming 2012 elections.
• Rajan Rajendran, VP, engineering services and sustainability for Emerson Climate Technologies, who will speak at a combined HVAC and Refrigeration & Refrigerants Councils Session on The Future of Refrigerants.
Other presentations will be given by Steve Tusa, executive director for JP Morgan Equity Research, Alan Beaulieu of ITR Economics, and HARDI’s chief economist, Jason Bader of the Distribution Team, and a keynote program by Sam Richter.
In addition, HARDI’s consultants Nancye Combs (Human Resources) and Andrew Duguay (ITR Economics) will also be available for private consultations with HARDI member companies.
The 2012 Annual Conference will conclude with the biggest closing celebration event to date hosted by Distribution Center magazine, www.distributioncentermag.com.
Registration is now open for distributors. Supplier registration and booth reservations will begin the middle of June. Visit www.developdemand2012.com for more details, including registration information.
