A line of high-efficiency two-stage Heil® QuietComfort® DXT+ air conditioners and heat pumps features communicating capabilities when installed with the Observer™ communicating wall control. With efficiencies up to 19 SEER and 14.2 EER when paired with select indoor equipment, the air conditioners and heat pumps are available in two model lines in 2- through 5-ton cooling capacities. They have self-configuring installation capabilities and text-based diagnostics capabilities when installed with the Observer™ communicating wall control. An outdoor temperature sensor is factory-installed. According to the manufacturer, for two-stage cooling and maximum system reliability, the DXT+ outdoor units must be installed with a fan coil or furnace capable of supporting two-stage cooling. TXV expansion devices are recommended by the company.
