•Burnham Holdings Inc.(Lancaster, Pa.) announced second-quarter and year-to-date sales of $41.4 million and $78 million respectively, as compared to 2011 second-quarter and year-to-date sales of $40 million and $76.3 million.

• Johnson Controls (Milwaukee) reported $417 million in net income, up 17 percent over last year, on a 2 percent increase in revenues. Diluted earnings per share were 61 cents, compared with 52 cents per share in the third quarter of fiscal year 2011.

• Mueller Industries Inc. (Memphis, Tenn.) announced a net income of $17.9 million, or 47 cents per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2012. This compares to net income of $22.3 million, or 59 cents per diluted share, for the same period in 2011.

• Watsco Inc. (Miami) reported that 2012 second-quarter revenues increased 15 percent to $1 billion, including $114 million of sales added by new locations. Gross profit was up 12 percent to $238 million.
