He joined Superior Equipment Sales Inc. in 1980 as sales and marketing manager and played an important role in Superior’s success. Roach was loved by fellow employees and customers for his warm and friendly personality. He retired from Superior in 2002.

Formerly, he served as national sales manager for Mueller Climatrol Division of Fedders Corp., and Air Temp Division of Chrysler Corp. He also worked as a sales manager for Worthington Corp. and was well known in the industry.

A memorial service for family and friends was held on Dec. 7 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, Va.
