Several wholesalers with roots in the Southern part of the United States were among those honored by Emerson Climate Technologies Inc. when it acknowledged its top-performing wholesalers for outstanding sales performance in 2012, during an awards banquet at Emerson’s annual National Wholesaler Conference in Tucson, Ariz.

The three-day event was held for Emerson’s authorized wholesale customers to discuss topics focused on the state-of-the-industry, Emerson’s business strategy, new products and services, and resources to help wholesalers advance their business. Birch Taylor, vice president and general manager of Emerson Climate Technologies Distribution Services business, presented the awards to the winners.

“It is always encouraging to see so many outstanding wholesalers achieve steady growth through our partnership,” said Taylor. “We value our network of wholesalers and partner to bring out the best in technology, expertise, and service.”

Among those to qualify for the Peak Performance Award were Johnstone Supply branches in Corpus Christi and Houston, Texas. To reach that level, wholesalers had to achieve 10 percent growth in Copeland™ compressors and condensing units in 2012. A total of seven wholesalers received the award.

Tropic Supply with branches throughout Florida won the Summit Award given to the Authorized Copeland wholesalers achieving an average of 10 percent growth in 2012 across all Emerson product lines they represent.
