NASHVILLE, Tenn. — International Comfort Products (ICP) honored Carr Supply of Michigan as its Tempstar® distributor of the year. ICP is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Charlie Piranian, general manager, North American sales, ICP, congratulated all of Tempstar’s leading distributors for strong sales growth in recent years. “ICP’s top distributors share one important characteristic,” he said. “They rely on quality customer service to attract new dealers and help existing dealers to grow and succeed.”

Mick Mudd, regional business manager, ICP, presented the award to Frank Russo, Rod Essig, Greg Essig, and Jon Petrusha of Carr Supply.

Carr Supply earned the award through hard work that paid off in impressive growth in sales of Tempstar products, Mudd said. “Carr Supply is operating in Detroit, one of the most challenging markets in the nation,” he said. “Yet, last year, Frank Russo and his team managed to grow their business by more than 41 percent.”
