Supply New England recently marked the completion of its “Live-Fire” training room with a ribbon-cutting celebration and cookout for customers and vendors.

With operations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, the company places special emphasis on bringing the latest in equipment and technology to the attention of its customers. The Live-Fire event featured hands-on product demonstrations and served as a new equipment showcase for its contractor customers.

“Training our customers has always been a priority for us,” said Nancy Imhoof, training instructor, Supply New England.

Supply New England has been hosting training sessions for more than five years using a furnace with an a/c coil and condenser on a pallet. Although it featured a working a/c system, the furnace was not live. During recent training sessions, many contractors expressed a desire for the company to sponsor Live-Fire classes in order to replicate real-world conditions. Jason and Jamie Reardon, owners of Supply New England, responded by providing a training room with seven boilers, an on-demand water heater, and a 95 percent AFUE variable-speed furnace with an 18-SEER modulating heat pump. The room will soon feature a Honeywell generator, as well.

With the Live-Fire system up and running, the company’s employees and customers have the opportunity to improve their troubleshooting skills and develop a mastery of each piece of equipment and its operation.
