TAMPA, Fla. — Pure Air Control Services, an indoor environmental quality firm, announced it will host its Sustainable Buildings Conference along with Tremmco/CanAm on April 27, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the IAQ Learning Institute, located at 4911 Creekside Drive in Clearwater, Florida. And, due to heavy demand, a second day has been set for April 28, also from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
During the conference, industry experts will speak on a number of topics, ranging from IAQ for sustainable buildings to understanding the risks of Legionella bacteria.
“It’s important to educate the industry on the latest developments in indoor air quality diagnostics, testing, and remediation,” said Alan Wozniak, CIAQP, CIEC, CAB, president and CEO of Pure Air Control Services. “This conference will create awareness and provide scientific data to help our clients overcome the challenges of the indoor air quality for sustainable buildings.”
Conference sessions will include:

• “WELL Building Standard – The Role of Wellness in Buildings,” presented by Al W. LaPera, CxA, EMP, LEED BD+C, O&M, GGP.
• “Achieving Function, Quality and Performance in Vegetated Roofing Systems,” presented by Rick Buist, Principal Consultant at Tremco.
• “Legionella Bacteria, Know the Risks,” presented by Dr. Rajiv Sahay, CIAQP, director of laboratory at EDLab.
