AUSTIN, Texas — Noesis, a lending marketplace for financing energy-saving commercial building improvements, has announced a free, mobile financing service for commercial HVAC contractors who want to grow their business by offering attractive payment plans to help close more sales.

Noesis said its new service is the industry’s first to offer both extended terms and promotional periods for financing commercial building equipment. Payment terms include up-to-84 months to pay for unexpected, big-ticket equipment replacements, such as broken boilers and chillers. In addition, Noesis’ service offers a promotional period of six months with no payments that is designed for building owners making energy efficiency upgrades who prefer to wait for energy savings or rebate checks.

With an easy-to-use online payment calculator, users of the new service can present a set of three different payment plans to their customers at the point of sale using their laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone. Their customers can then use their mobile devices to complete Noesis’ 3-minute online credit application and get approved in less than 48 hours. The service is free for all users, and anyone interested can register on Noesis’ website and begin offering payment plans immediately.

Used by over 200 commercial HVAC, lighting, and controls companies, Noesis’ equipment leasing marketplace matches commercial building owners with one of its network of lenders based on the type of equipment being purchased, the size of purchase, the borrower’s credit, and other factors. This matchmaking through Noesis’ syndicate of lenders allows vendor partners to offer very competitive rates and terms, high approval rates, and a fast application and lending process.

Noesis said its new service complements its premium service, which is a paid subscription for large building equipment vendors where users get access to more specialized payment packages, and software and expert services for advanced energy efficiency project investment analysis.

“We noticed that many smaller vendors didn’t need the full software suite, but they had similar issues to our premium users and were losing sales because their customers couldn’t finance the purchase,” said Hiren Patel, chief credit officer, Noesis. “So we developed an online, free service that gives them what they need to include payment plans with their quotes.”
