FORT WORTH, Texas — Women in HVACR (WHVACR) announced that, for the first time ever, their conference will be held as a stand-alone event at the Tarrant County College Center for Energy Excellence in Fort Worth, Texas.

“We are beyond excited about our conference this year!” said Julie Decker, 2017 WHVACR president. “We want you to be a part of this new step in WHVACR’s legacy! For the first time since our organization was founded, we will be hosting our first stand-alone conference!  What does that phrase mean?  In the past, we have partnered with great organizations that helped WHVACR get our start.  We held our conference in conjunction with their annual events, which was instrumental in building our legacy.”

“Our legacy changes,” she said. “We have grown in membership, so we are excited to launch our conference in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 27-29. Please watch your email, the WHVACR newsletter, and other forms of communication for the exciting details. Please join us in historic Fort Worth Texas.”

With the support of its members and sponsors, Women in HVACR is excited to open this next chapter in the growth of the organization.

  • Conference registration will open June 1, 2017, on the Women in HVACR website.
  • Hotel room block info will also be provided on the WHVACR website.
  • Conference is open to members and non-members, male and female.
