COLUMBUS, Ohio — HARDI joined the Advanced RTU Campaign (ARC) as a supporting organization. The campaign is a collaboration between ASHRAE, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Better Buildings Alliance, and other supporting stakeholders to help overcome real and perceived barriers to wide-spread adoption of efficient commercial rooftop unit solutions. The ARC encourages commercial building owners and operators to evaluate their stock of rooftop units and replace older ones with high-efficiency equipment and retrofit others with advanced controls in order to take advantage of energy efficiency benefits. The campaign provides building owners, operators, contractors, and vendors with access to information and expertise to lower facility operating costs while maintaining or improving building occupant comfort.

Organizations that promote high efficiency rooftop unit technology and best practices, such as utilities, manufacturers, contractors, vendors, etc., can also join the campaign as supporters. The campaign provides resources to help supporting organizations make the business case to customers for high efficiency products and services. It is a one-stop shop for information on incentives, energy savings calculators, and case studies of companies implementing the technology. Supporters can promote ARC resources and the campaign will link to their resources to help recruit building owner customers to join the campaign.
