APPLETON, Wis. — HARDI member Johnstone Supply of Appleton, Wisc., hosted U.S. Representative Reid Ribble at its facility last Thursday.

Johnstone Supply of Appleton’s co-owners Glenys and Rick Hull met with the congressman as part of HARDI’s Congressional Fly-In this past May.

“As a small businessman himself, Congressman Ribble has a very good understanding of the issues impacting our business and our customers,” said Glenys Hull. “It was great to have such an open dialogue on a number of issues that impact all of us.”

Rick Hull shared a similar perspective. “Congressman Ribble is a straight talker who laid out many of the challenges in Washington and his thoughts on how we should tackle those problems,” he said. “He’s a friend to the small businesses in Wisconsin and across the country.”

HARDI CEO Talbot Gee highlighted the importance of HARDI members connecting with our elected leaders.

“A visit like this is exactly the type of interaction with elected officials that we aim for,” Gee said. “Rick and Glenys continue to be effective advocates for our industry, and we owe them a debt of gratitude for their continued willingness to engage with our leaders on behalf of not only their company but distributors everywhere.”
