COLUMBUS, Ohio — Effective immediately, Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) has promoted Nick Benton to the position of Manager of Professional Development.
In his new position, Benton will take a more prominent role in the budgetary and strategic direction of HARDI’s Education pillar, while continuing to manage its programs and grow their efficacy. He will also transition to be HARDI’s lead on the Emerging Leaders program and will see increased oversight of HARDI’s online learning platform, HEAT.U.
The growth of HARDI’s Education pillar is, in large part, a reflection of Benton’s contributions.
“During his tenure with HARDI, Nick has consistently showcased his ability to think strategically, manage projects, grow member relationships, and innovate,” said Emily Saving, HARDI Vice President Professional & Program Development. “I am exceptionally confident in Nick’s abilities and look forward to seeing what he’ll be able to accomplish for our members with these added responsibilities.”
“I am extremely honored to step into this new role,” said Benton. “I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved in the Emerging Leaders program since joining HARDI and have been supervising several major HEAT.U upgrades that we’re on the cusp of launching. I’m thrilled to take on increased ownership of these vital HARDI programs as we move forward.”
Benton has served HARDI for nearly two years as its education specialist, developing educational curricula, certification programs, and assisting HARDI members with their training and development needs.
