PITTSBURGH — Comfort Supply Inc., a wholesale distributor of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment and provider of specification and installation support, is opening a new service location in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This expansion brings to Central Pennsylvania the top-notch quality and customer support for which Comfort Supply is known.
Comfort Supply’s recent growth as a 31-year-old company led to the need for the new facility to further support and serve customers who have a variety of HVAC needs. A territory manager will supervise the 3,500-square-foot facility, and an inside sales employee will run operations. Comfort Supply estimates some 150 to 200 HVAC contractors will receive support from the location.
“For us, the expansion to Altoona was our next logical step with the steady growth we’ve seen in the area and as a company. We are very fortunate to be opening our second store in less than two years. It is an exciting time to be a part of the CSIpgh team,” said Brendan Heckler, vice president, Comfort Supply.
Comfort Supply Inc. is family-owned with, third and fourth generations operating ownership, and it has a long-standing relationship with HVAC product manufacturers, such as its 27-year partnership with Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating (Mitsubishi Electric). As an early adopter of ductless systems and an advocate for Mitsubishi Electric products and applications at the distributor level, it stocks and supplies full lines of M-Series, P-Series and CITY MULTI® VRF zoning products.
