COLUMBUS, Ohio — Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) presented both its Key Member and Pillar Awards at the HARDI Annual Conference: NOVA 2017, Dec. 2-5 at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Key Member Awards were given to individuals who have shown standout engagement with HARDI and the association's initiatives over the past year.

Recipients of the 2017 HARDI Key Member Award were Scott Bell, vice president of sales, Snappy; Adam Cornell, regional sales manager, Daikin Applied; Frank Leone, president, Leone-Green & Associates; Oscar Lopez, vice president of sales, JB Industries; Jim Murphy, owner, Team Air Distributing; Lance Rantala, CEO, Blue Hawk Distribution; Paul Rebelo, senior sales director, ductless & VRF, at Carrier Corp./United Technologies Corp.; and Frank Souders, president, Reacond Associates.

HARDI also distributed Pillar Awards for exceptional involvement with Advocacy, Benchmarking, and Talent initiatives through the association.

The Advocacy Pillar Award recipients were Johnstone Supply Cincinnati, Nibco Inc., and Airefco.

The Talent Pillar Award was given to Refrigeration Supplies Distributor (RSD).

The Benchmarking Pillar award recipient was Don Stevens Inc.

"2017 was the best year yet for HARDI in terms of members engaging with the association," said Talbot Gee, CEO, HARDI. "The fact that this was our highest attendance ever at a HARDI is also a testament that more of our members are seeing the real value in services their organization offers.
