COLUMBUS, Ohio — Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) has announced the speaker lineup and agenda for its Supply Chain Excellence Focus conference. The event is to be held Sept. 23-25 at the Loews O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois.

Speakers include:

Andrew Duguay — Duguay, a senior economist for Prevedere, a predictive analytics company that helps provides business leaders a real-time view of their company’s future performance, will lead a session on Business Forecasting. Prior to his role at Prevedere, Duguay was a senior economist at ITR Economics. Duguay’s commentary and expertise have been featured in Forbes, MarketWatch, and other publications. He has an MBA and a degree in economics and received a certificate in professional forecasting from the Institute for Business Forecasting and certificates in economic measurement, applied econometrics, and time-series analysis and forecasting from the National Association for Business Economics.

Howard W. Coleman — Coleman, principal of MCA Associates, will present on Warehouse Efficiency. He’s worked with more than 145 clients in distribution management and manufacturing consulting engagements. He has extensive hands-on experience in evaluating, streamlining, and implementing value-added and continuous improvement solutions. He is recognized by his clients for having the necessary sensitivity and skills to develop organizations and people to new levels of effectiveness. Coleman has more than 35 years of business management experience, including 23-plus years as a management consultant. He has held corporate management positions in distribution operations management, materials, and inventory management as well as customer service. He’s authored many articles on distribution and manufacturing improvement topics in industry trade publications.

Kevin Gue — Gue, a professor of industrial engineering and director of the Logistics and Distribution Institute at the University of Louisville, will present on Robotic Warehousing. His research interests are in logistics, warehousing, and material handling. He has published works in leading journals of his field and is a past president of the College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education. He is co-inventor of the Flying-V, Fishbone, and Chevron warehouse aisle designs — work for which he was awarded the Technical Innovation in Industrial Engineering Award in 2009. He served as editor-in-chief of the 2014 U.S. Roadmap for Material Handling and Logistics.

Corry Dickerson — Dickerson, founder of Dickerson Transportation Solutions, will present on CLDA Transportation. After founding Dickerson Transportation Solutions five years ago, he aimed to create a company that would provide multi-modes of service offerings in an environment that flexibly assisted customers in growing their businesses. The DTS mission is bundling LTL and Final Mile, offering a multiple of LTL providers to provide a nice array of price and service options coupled with a deep availability of Final Mile; Whiteglove – two-man delivery with set-up or one-man threshold service. Dickerson hold 35 years of experience in the transportation and logistics fields.

Bill Sullivan — Sullivan, who joined the American Trucking Association as the executive vice president of advocacy in 2016 after serving as legislative director for Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) and previous tours at the Department of Justice and Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), will lead a presentation titled: Trucking Industry Insights & Outlooks.

Mike Alford — In addition to serving as director of business development for the Reverse Logistics Association, Alford has served in various roles in marketing and sales for several OEM product makers. At the Supply Chain Excellence conference, he will present on Reverse Logistics. Alford currently serves as head of U.S. Sales for Meda Import Export, U.S. distributor for the Lava Cookware brand of enameled cast iron cookware manufactured in Turkey. Alford previously operated as director of marketing and new product development for Maxell Corporation of America, a division of the Hitachi Corp.
