COLUMBUS, Ohio — Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) has promoted Nick Benton to director of talent development.
Benton, previously manager of training and HR solutions, has overseen a substantial expansion of HARDI talent resource offerings and recently expanded his team with the addition of training specialist Liz Rock.
“We have had the privilege of seeing the talent pillar experience major growth recently with more and more members learning about and taking advantage of these resources available to them,” said Benton. “This is an exciting time to be part of a growing HARDI organization, and we've set our sights on some lofty goals for HARDI Talent that are looking increasingly tangible.”
Emily Saving, executive vice president, HARDI, said she’s witnessed Benton take the talent pillar to the next level numerous times since he took on this role of being the point person for those programs.
“It’s truly fitting to have such a talented individual heading up our talent initiatives, and the pillar is continually a growing asset to the HARDI organization under his leadership,” she said.
HARDI Talent offerings include training courses and curriculum available through the HEAT.U learning management system (LMS), the Emerging Leaders program, and HR consulting services with attorney Pam Krivda.
"We know that members are seeing the value in our tools and training solutions, and we know that Nick will continue building the quality and quantity of these resources as well as boost member engagement as HARDI grows,” Saving continued.
