GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Dave DeJonge was promoted to COO of Behler-Young, effective Jan. 3. DeJonge will assume full responsibility of the company.

“As our company grows and changes, it’s important to periodically evaluate our structure to insure that it best supports the business,” said Doug Young, CEO, Behler-Young. “Our key goals continue to be to strengthening our business and providing superior customer service to our HVACR contractor base.”

For the last six years, DeJonge served as vice president of finance and CFO for Behler-Young, where he provided direct leadership and integration to accounting, information technology, credit facilities, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and the corporate distribution center. Prior to that he spent 10 years as the vice president of finance and treasurer at S2 Yachts Inc.

Young will continue as CEO of Behler-Young, where he will focus on the oversight of the business. He also intends to spend more time in the field with customers and Behler-Young’s field associates.
