GRANDVIEW, Mo. —  Ruskin^® hired Jay Ramkumar as director of louvers and architectural solutions.

In his role, Ramkumar will oversee product development, application engineering, and sales of Ruskin’s expanding louver production offering. He has nearly 15 years of experience in the mechanical and construction industries, serving in a variety of roles including product manager, senior applications engineer, and vertical marketing manager. He also served as a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineer involved in health care, education, and other construction projects.

“Jay brings a deep level of industry experience and knowledge to our team, as well as an invaluable can-do attitude,” said Keith Glasch, president, Ruskin. “His ability to tackle new challenges will be a key asset as we continue to position ourselves as the global leader in air control solutions.”

Ramkumar earned his Master’s of Science in civil engineering with a construction focus from Iowa State University, and his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stony Brook University in New York.
