MEMPHIS, Tenn. — IAC Supply Solutions Inc. has hired John Pate as an automation specialist. Pate will be responsible for providing leadership regarding sales, strategic planning, and regional growth to IAC’s Automation Support Team. He will be heavily involved in IAC’s automation services and projects, as well as in providing support to customers regarding products and networks. Additionally, Pate will serve as a technical liaison between IAC and its automation software partners. He will also be responsible for supporting IAC’s Jackson, Tennessee, and Glen, Mississippi, locations.

Before joining IAC, Pate served as a business development manager for Logical Systems LLC. Prior to that, he spent two decades at Tri-State Armature and Electrical Works. During that time, Pate served as an automation specialist and then as the company’s business development manager. He brings more than 35 years of automation experience to IAC’s team.

“John’s combination of business development and automation experience is rare to come by,” said Darrell Smith, president of IAC. “He’s had great success in this role, and I’m looking forward to seeing the new ideas and methods he will bring to IAC’s Automation Support Team.”
