While women make up 50% of the population and 47% of the U.S. workforce, they make up less than 2% of the HVAC industry.

That is not good for a field that is in desperate need of more workers. What can the HVAC industry do to bring more females into the fold?

Here at The ACHR NEWS, our idea was to raise awareness by highlighting women in the HVAC industry doing great work. Last year, we created the Top Women in HVAC list, and we plan to continue the list each year.

All of these women have made a mark on the HVAC industry and continue to do so. While they serve in different areas of the industry, each is making a contribution to both improve the industry and make it a more welcoming career for females.
