CHARLOTTE, N.C., and ATLANTA — Kian Capital-backed Team Air Distributing, a wholesale distributor of OEM-branded HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies, has been awarded new territories from its partner American Standard, a division of Trane Technologies.

The expansion will deepen Team Air’s presence in Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Southern Illinois, according to a press release from Team Air.

The expansion territory includes more than 130 counties throughout the majority of Kentucky and portions of Southern Indiana and Illinois. To fully serve these regions, Team Air will open new branch locations in Evansville, Ind., Louisville, Ky.; and Lexington, Ky., increasing the company’s industry presence and employee base.

The company looks to expand American Standard's market share and drive platform growth through sales of higher-efficiency equipment and superior dealer support, the press release said.

As Team Air expands its geographical reach, the company is also focused on growing its product lines, actively identifying relevant acquisition targets, and answering the market’s demand for a customer-centric, whole-home services distribution platform, Team Air said.
