WESTFIELD, Mass. — RBI has expanded the Torus line of watertube boilers and water heaters to include smaller sizes, from 3,000 Btuh to 1 million Btuh.

The full line is now available in sizes ranging from 3,000 Btuh to 4 million Btuh, making the units ideal for a wide array of applications. Torus continues the RBI tradition of high quality and performance in a user-friendly design that incorporates industry-proven components, including the HeatNet 3.0 digital touchscreen control and the Tru-Flow fuel-air coupling system, making it the perfect solution for all types of installations, a press release from RBI said.

Torus models use a pressure-driven air-fuel mixing system to reliably provide up to 10:1 turndown without the negative effects often seen in other high-turndown systems. The pressure-driven system has no moving parts and eliminates common nuisance failures, including ignition lockouts, the press release said.

Torus units are +97.5 AHRI Certified, and the units from 3,000 Btuh to 1 million Btuh are EnergyStar certified. An available rack system for stacking the smaller units allows space-saving flexibility, the company said.

The Torus heat exchanger is made from industrial-quality stainless steel, making it reliable, robust, and resistant to both thermal shock and acidic condensate. An exclusive telescoping burner door system slides outward, offering full access to the combustion chamber for easy inspection and service.

All Torus utilize the HeatNet 3.0 Integrated Boiler Management System for precise system control and increased energy optimization. HeatNet 3.0 monitors system performance, modulating boiler firing rates to maximize turndown ratios and maintain peak system efficiency.
