Meet all of the 2024 Top 40 Under 40 HVACR Professionals

Vinny Campagniolo

Company: Atlantic Westchester
Title: Field Supervisor
Age: 34

Vinny Campagniolo is already living the HVAC career goal that he set for himself 12 years ago when he first joined the industry. Now, he wants to learn everything he can in this role to help him achieve his next goal: to teach and mentor the future of the HVAC industry.

In high school, Campagniolo had already decided college was not the route for him. He knew he’d be a tradesman; he just wasn’t sure what kind. That is, until he joined the military.

“The military guided me to HVAC, and I am glad they did,” Campagniolo said. “Being an HVAC technician forces you to be well rounded in all the trades in some way, and I think I’m better for it … My first big accomplishment was joining the Air Force National Guard in the Civil Engineering squadron doing HVAC,” Campagniolo said. “One exciting task I had when I was deployed to Qatar in 2019 was to be in charge of SOCCENT (Special Operations Command Center) entire HVAC, including their top-secret server rooms.”

Campagniolo was also accepted into the Local 21 Union, where he went through five years of HVAC apprenticeship training. Here, he learned how to manage in the field.

“Joining Local 21 made me proud to be a part of something bigger and part of a brotherhood,” Campagniolo said.

Before getting hired by Atlantic Westchester, Campagniolo thought all HVAC companies were the same — riding their technicians hard and always wondering why the work isn’t finished yet.

“But not Atlantic Westchester,” Campagniolo said. “Here, they make you feel like part of a family and truly listen to your input. I am glad to have a strong role in Atlantic Westchester where they help me put my best foot forward.”
