Kris Hollenbeck never considered HVAC until he was looking for a long-term career, and had a friend working at Meier Supply who praised how well they treat their co-owners (Employee Stock Ownership Plan or ESOP).
“Her husband worked there, and she suggested I apply for a warehouse position,” Hollenbeck said. “Meier Supply provided the coaching and development I needed to build a successful career in the HVACR industry.”
Since joining Meier Supply, Hollenbeck was selected for the Meier Core Development (MCD) program, a three-year training program designed to develop the next generation of leaders. Through this program, Hollenbeck said he developed essential leadership skills that have been pivotal to his professional growth.
During Hollenbeck’s tenure as branch manager, he had the opportunity to lead a team that tripled the size of branch sales and operations, allowing them to expand and complete a renovation of our building.
“Advancing my career to become the director of operations has been a tremendous achievement,” Hollenbeck said. “In this position, I leverage my skills to support all our branches by focusing on coaching, development, and enhancing branch efficiencies. It’s an honor to work alongside such talented individuals that contribute to our overall success.”
His focus is to foster the continued growth and development of the team at Meier Supply while increasing efficiencies and processes to support a best-in-class customer experience.
