Jen McKee is the owner of a social media marketing agency specifically for the trades. She found her way into HVAC through a friend in plumbing. In 2021, she was introduced to an owner that was looking for some social media, and they wanted to be on every platform, including TikTok. Mckee got started, and the company saw great results. People started noticing, and asked the company was behind their social media success.
“From there I got my first HVAC client,” McKee said. “Getting involved in the trades industry was completely accidental, but I’m so glad it happened. It’s such an awesome industry with so many great people. Getting to share the stories, the teams, and the brands of my clients online makes me so proud.”
McKee has done social media for a number of reputable HVAC companies and organizations since her entrance, including Women in HVACR. McKee has also helped clients achieve huge ROI on their advertising investment — including $30,943 made on $3,302, and $25,342 made on $5,102.
McKee ultimately aims to change the way the trades are doing social media.
“Social media can be incredibly powerful for all businesses and my goal is to teach best practices, share everything I learn, and help as many people as possible be successful on social media,” McKee said.
