Current, powered by GE, has announced the acquisition of Daintree Networks, a provider of building controls solutions for commercial facilities. Current said this acquisition will enable it to expand its building automation platform and its energy-as-a-service offering to small- and medium-size facilities.

American Residential Services (ARS), a national provider of air conditioning, heating, and plumbing services, has acquired the assets of Unique Air Services in Bradenton, Florida.

Daikin Industries Ltd., through its subsidiary Daikin Europe N.V., announced it will acquire Zanotti S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer of commercial refrigerators and freezers. The acquisition price is 98 million euros (12.3 billion yen) for which Daikin will obtain all company shares.

DiversiTech Corp., a leading manufacturer and supplier of HVACR parts and accessories, announced that it has purchased Quick-Sling LLC., a manufacturer of mounting products for residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC equipment.

Canadian home and commercial services company Enercare Inc., Toronto, is reported to have entered into an agreement to acquire Service Experts, a U.S. provider of HVAC services based in Plano, Texas. The purchase price is said to be $340.75 million.

Mitsubishi Electric Corp., following the acquisition of approximately 74.97 percent of the shares of DeLclima S.p.A. from De’Longhi Industrial S.A. on Dec. 23, 2015, launched a mandatory tender offer to acquire the remaining shares. Consequently, Mitsubishi Electric has completed its acquisition of all the remaining shares.
