Advent International, one of the largest global private equity investors, announced that it has acquired Distribution International Inc. (DI), a leading distributor and fabricator of mechanical insulation and related products in North America.

Ingersoll-Rand plc announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire FRIGOBLOCK for €100 million. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2015, subject to regulatory approval.
