The HVACR industry lost a good one Feb. 10 with the passing of WaterFurnace president and CEO Tom Huntington due to cancer. Huntington passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Kansas City Hospice House.
HOUSTON — The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is saddened to mark the passing of its first president and one of its original founders, George Graves, IFMA Fellow. Graves was an integral part of the birth of IFMA and the advancement of the FM profession.
Dr. Joost Brasz, aero thermal manager, Danfoss Turbocor Compressors, passed away Sept. 2 at the age of 70. Dr. Brasz was recognized by the HVAC industry and the academic community as a leader and expert aerodynamic engineer in turbomachinery and centrifugal compressor technology.
Norris was ACCA’s executive vice president from 1969 until he retired in 1997. He remained in the HVACR industry after his retirement working as chairman of the board of GroupMac. While Norris was the top executive of ACCA, the association thrived and grew its membership nationwide.
