Forrest B. Fencl, chief executive and co-founder of UV Resources, passed away on Saturday, August 1, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 72 years old.

Joel Spira, 88, chairman and founder of Lutron Electronics, inventor of the solid-state dimmer switch, and 2010 National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Falk Award winner, died April 8.

Formerly of London Metal Services and Boutette and Barnett Trade Distribution Centre, Barnett was an active volunteer with HRAI, serving on the wholesalers division board as chair and as HRAI chair in 2001-2002.

Siemen was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Hackensack, New Jersey, the son of Harold J. and Marie A. (Messina) Siemen. He worked as a technical relations representative for Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI).

Siewert was a longtime veteran of the HVACR industry whose expertise bridged both residential and automotive air conditioning.
