The project goal was to update HVAC equipment for a 17,000-square-foot research facility within the university's 800,000-square-foot medical center north building on its Nashville, Tenn., campus.
For this chemical processing laboratory, the goal was to install textile air diffusers and new fume hoods to solve the laboratory’s cross-draft, high-velocity ventilation challenges, which included temperature and relative humidity swings of 10°F and 30 percent, relatively, in its laboratory area.
