Southern HVAC® Corp. named Bryan Benak chief executive officer. Prior to joining Southern HVAC, Benak served as a vice president at Service Experts LLC. Benak is looking to improve on the organization built by Mike Stucky, former CEO and 30-year veteran of the building supplies industry.

Power management company Eaton announced today that Kerry Tingley has been named vice president and general manager of its Industrial Controls Division, effective March 1. She will be responsible for leading Eaton’s strategic growth and new product development initiatives for industrial control solutions used by machine builders, and commercial and industrial customers.
ESCO Group announced the appointment of Thomas M. Tebbe as executive director of the HVACR Education Resource Network (HERN), and as an executive board member of ESCO Group. Tebbe joined the ESCO Group team in 2003 after spending 30 years in public education with the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, as an instructor, school director, and regional director of five technical colleges. Over the years, Tebbe has worked in various roles within the ESCO Group, most recently as the national programs director for HVAC Excellence.
Christopher Drew was recently promoted to president and chief operations officer for Burnham Holdings Inc. He assumes the role from Douglas Brossman who, after seven years as president and CEO, will retain his role as chief executive officer. Drew will begin his new role on April 29 at Burnham Holdings’ annual meeting.
ESCO Group announced the appointment of Renee Tomlinson as executive director of ESCO Institute, and as an executive board member of ESCO Group, effective Feb. 1. Tomlinson joined the ESCO team in 2011 after spending 17 years with the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. Over the last several years, Tomlinson has worked in various roles within ESCO Group to help the organization meet its long-term goals for industry advancement.
John Schleiter has been appointed vice president, legal and business affairs, North America, for Uponor North America. As the North American organization’s chief in-house counsel and key member of the senior management team, he will direct the management of legal affairs for the organization and provide strategic leadership on business matters to promote and protect the interests of the company, its customers, and the industry.
